10 Things to Do Before You Graduate from SchoolCollege

Yes, we all want to grow up fast, get a degree faster, grab a handsome job and start making big bucks, everything at a rocket’s speed. But, hold on, in this hustle-bustle, you miss something very significant and that is your school or college life. College is an experience that will bring enduring memories and friends.

From the annoying 8 a.m. classes to some of the most enjoyable late-night parties of your life. Make sure you live up the last few days of your college with some of the most absurd and awesome people you will meet in your life. Here are some of the ways you can make that happen!

10 Things You Must Do Before You Graduate

Plan a rocking holiday with your besties

A chilled out and a relaxing holiday is a must before you go out and face the pressure of settling down in life. Plan this wicked holiday with your best buddies, have fun, spend some quality time with your friends and forget about the worries of the world for these few days. I bet, you will remember this trip for the rest of your life and have stories to tell to your grandchildren.

Find out your favorite pass time and go for it!

We all have that one favorite pass time; be it singing, dancing, reading, painting, traveling, sports etc… But we hardly say timeout to our busy lineups. But now is the time that you explore your craft and work on it because life is going to be much harder and much busier from now on.

Make bestest of friends

Guys lock on that the friends you make in college are friends for life. You were friends when friendship is the most important thing in your life. You will always know the fun-loving, carefree side of each other. You know each other’s deep dark secrets and have gulped it down to your stomach. You’ve gone through some of the hardest times in life together. So make sure you never keep these friends behind.

Learn to cook

Take out time and learn to cook for yourself as it’s a healthier option than eating out. Also, you spend a significant amount every day when you eat out. So, cooking at home can be a great money saving idea. Also, you might live away from your family for your further studies, so learning to cook your own food will help you eat home cooked food and you can also experiment with your cooking by making different recipes. Just don’t forget to note down those recipes from your mom.

Cooking your own food makes you independent. You need not to depend on anyone to make your food. You won’t be starving for someone making your food. You are your own chef. Whether you a boy or girl, cooking will help you to have that sense of responsibility. Cooking is also pretty impressive to a romantic partner (at least I think so). Girls get easily impressed with the guys who can cook a nice dinner.

Plan your farewell party

Plan a kickass farewell party as it’s the last time to celebrate something with friends, faculty, and juniors. This day will be an excellent opportunity to remember all the wonderful days you had spent. Also, it’s your last chance to say something you never dare to say to the lecturer or your friends. It’s one of the best memories that you create in your college life.

Join the college Alumni club.

To stay connected with your campus for life, join the college Alumni club. Obviously, career opportunities and networking are the biggest reasons to join the alumni association. So if you’re heading to graduation in a couple of months or have just finished your degree, joining your college’s alumni association is an excellent way to get a foot (or three) in the door. Contact your alumni association to see what sort of networking opportunities they offer.

Take part in college fest

Yes! These exciting fests do a lot more to a student’s life than we know. So if you have not been a part of any of your college festivities, don’t miss the opportunity now. Apart from the fact that you get to attend the various events according to your field of interest, including concerts, Drama, Debates, Paper presentations and what not, the best part is you can have few days of extreme fun with your bunch of favorite people.

Take full advantage of the student discounts

Get every student discount, be it in public transport, restaurants, movies, malls and wherever possible. Take advantage of this as much as you can!

Explore your surroundings

Take a step out of the campus and see what your college town has to offer. Whether it be going on a hike or just going shopping with your friends. Visit all the touristy places out of the campus also so that years later you can come back to your favorite spot and remember the good old days.

Confess your love to your crush

College is the time when most of us fall for that someone special. Falling for someone in this age is natural. But make sure you express your feelings to that person before your college days are over. Because you may or may not get a chance to meet that person later and you don’t wanna end regretting not to do it rest of your life. So just stop thinking and tell your crush about your feelings and you never know he/she is the one for you.
