Once these beaded tassels are ready, you can make earrings, necklace, bracelet, anklet etc. from them. You can flaunt them anywhere you want, your office, outdoors, parties or even at the family functions.
So, let’s see how these beaded tassels are made.
Colorful 4mm 6/0 seed beads, strong thread, Pliers, Scissors, Jumprings, Headpins, Fishhooks, Bigger bead (to make cap).
Take a strong thread and cut out an approximately 7-inch piece of thread from it.
Now, take the piece of thread and put a single seed bead through its one end.
Now hold both of the ends together and put them through the beads. The order of the beads can be determined by your interest. Try to make a pattern or color combinations with it. Make a 3-Inch Strand. Leave some extra thread at the end and tie a knot, so that the beads won’t come out.
Now, repeat from step 1 to step 3 and make more 4-5 bead strands. After making all the strands cut the extra thread from the end of the strand.
Now, take a jumpring. Open it with the help of pliers. Attach it to the bead strand and before closing it, attach a headpin to it. Close the jumpring.
Now, insert a bigger wooden bead or any bead you want to make it look attractive, cut the extra pin metal with cutting plier and bend it with the round nose plier to make a loop at the end.
Taddaaa!!! Your beaded tassel is ready to rock. You can make more tassels like these and attach them to whatever you want. 🙂
- Take a strong thread which won’t break easily.
- Try to make patterns and color combinations with the beads.
- Keep the length of the strand varying. It gives a nice cluster look.
- Don’t use elastic thread. It spoils the shape of the strand and the knots won’t be firm.
Now you can make your Saree, Blouse, Dupatta or anything you want, more stylish by just attaching these beaded tassels to them.
