We earn money to buy things which are necessary for our survival. After fulfilling our basic human needs of food, clothes, and home to live we move to the things that make us feel good; Things like cars, jewelry etc. For each thing we buy, there’s a price on it. We pay the price and buy them. But there are some things which cannot be bought with money. Moreover, a price cannot be set on such things and such things are our most precious possession or the treasured belonging. We neither can buy happiness with money nor the contentedness or satisfaction of our mind.

Every one of us has their own valuable and prized possession or belonging they are proud of having. It can be the medals or certificates you have won or an old photograph of your parents, an autograph from an important person, your guitar, a gift from someone special or something with which you have great memories attached to. For me, my most precious possession, my most valuable, treasured and cherished belonging is my family. Yes, my family is my treasure. Since my childhood, I wanted to have all the money in the world. I wanted to become the richest man in the world. As years passed I realized the happiness, the pleasure we are seeking resides in the people you love and the people that love you, not in the piece of paper like money, jewels, cars etc. So my family is my most precious possession?

Why My Family is My Most Precious Possession and Treasured Belonging?

When a child is born, its mother is the first person who holds him/her. His father is the reason he/she is in the world. As the child grows up all the family takes care of it. They love the baby and adore them. They teach it how to walk. They help the baby get up when he falls. They provide all the love and care in the world to the baby. Then what other item or thing can be more valuable and meaningful than the love of the family? My family is my most precious possession because I know with my family by my side, I can conquer whatever I want. My family gives me the strength and confidence to win anything in the world. My mother taught me the power of love, care, and motherhood. She is holding our family together with her care and love. My father is like a giant banyan tree spreading under the shadow of which our whole family blossomed. My father taught me the responsibility, determination and gave me the power to fulfill my dreams, my siblings are my strength and I look up to them as my inspiration. And these are not less than jewels for me. A family is the most prized valuable possession or a treasured belonging one can have and no other thing can take that place.

My family is always been important to me and I think if a person wants to win the world, then his/her family will be the biggest assets he/she can have.
