My Favorite Teacher Essay, Speech, Paragraph

Mathematics has always been a difficult subject for me. I still remember the days when I used to get frustrated because I couldn’t solve a single mathematics sum. I used to be scared to go to the school when there was mathematics period in the timetable. I was very nervous about my studies because I couldn’t solve the mathematics sums like my classmates used to do. Our mathematics teacher used to scold me because I couldn’t solve even the simple questions. I remember the day when our mathematics teacher was replaced by a new teacher. I was afraid that this teacher is also going to scold me for my bad mathematics.

Then the day came when our new mathematics teacher entered in our class for mathematics period.  I was trying to hide behind the boy in front of me but he noticed it. He asked me to stand up. I knew I was going to get scolded because earlier that day in the morning he looked at me in the verandah and smiled at me and I ran away frantically. So I stood up and he asked my name. I told him my name and he asked me to sit down. Then I realized he is not as strict as I was thinking. As days passed I was improving in my mathematics study and he is the only reason behind that and he became my favorite teachers soon.

Yes, Nikumbh sir is my favorite teacher. So let me tell you why he is my favorite teacher. There are so many reasons why he is favorite teacher. I was very bad in mathematics. He helped me to overcome my fear of mathematics with his simple yet effective way of teaching. He pays attention to every student equally. He explains every concept precisely and in a simple way that anyone can learn it instantly.  He gives best examples to explain anything. Apart from his best way of teaching he is also very punctual. He never comes late to the class and always completes his syllabus in time. Though he is a mathematics teacher, he loves art. He sings prayers in every morning assembly. He has a good voice too. Nikumbh Sir is not only a good teacher; he is also a good human being. He pays the fees of a poor student in 5th standard. He takes extra classes for students free of cost. He lives a healthy lifestyle. He is good in sports. He is also good with other teachers. He talks with everyone politely. He greets everyone good morning. He also scolds if anyone is doing something wrong, but later explains why it is bad for them.

No wonder he got the “Teacher of the Year” award this year. I wish he never leaves our school and keeps teaching us the mathematics in his wonderful way.
